Hi guys! Hope everyone had a good holiday if you celebrate it.

We decided to go ahead and try hatching out some more of Toasted's babies... since being out in the sleet we have seen a giant decrease in fertility for him. So we might be looking to replace him. That is if we cannot get our 2nd flock we're looking for. We set a limit of 50 chickens two flocks of 25. To meet egg orders and then only hatch in spring.

we moved babies to bigger bin, it had been outside so i scrubbed with peroxide and then rinsed, hopefully I got everything

my kids have been kinda awful, I finally put down the alternative of not having presents.... I'm now the most hated mom around

i did this several years ago and ended up returning everything so they know I'm not joking. Holidays always seem to bring out the worst in people instead of the better...

Paninni is looking almost like a butterfly wing! Does someone have some explaining???

Starting over on eggs, had a severe heat spike, only thing i can think is my temp gauge broke so got a new simple one to set in and re-calibrated the incubator. Today got a chance to set 18 new ones. We'll see if it works!
