Flooring question

I use shavings on the floor but it attracts earwigs bad. My Chickens won’t eat them. Is there a safe kind of spray I can use around my chickens.

I am not sure what earwigs are but permethrin is safe to use both on chickens and around them, you will have to read more to see if permethrin helps with earwigs or not.
