I have a hen who's comb is flaped over her left eye and she can't see as well. Is there any way it can be straightened with a certain diet or other means? I dont want to do any cutting

Hmm, I dunno if this is a problem or not, or what to do. I can say that the breed standard on some chickens is such that their combs are 'supposed to' flop over, like on our brown leghorns. It's how they're bred.

Good luck with this one! Hope somebody with a real answer gets in touch with you.

Is this a sudden thing? If so, she might be a dehydrated. Give her some fresh water and with some vitamins.

If it is just a genetic thing, I wouldn't worry about it as long as it otherwise looks healthy. I had a leghorn rooster who had the same thing and he was an awesome guy. He just fipped his head if he wanted to see a little better out of the one eye. It sure didn't seem to bother my rooster and it always made me chuckle to see him tilt his head to get a better look at me when I visited the coup!
