Floppy Comb?

My black star pullet's comb is growing nice and big, but now it's starting to flop over and not stand straight up.

Should I be concerned about this?

I dont think you should be concerned. My roo's comb is all crooked and floppy, is makes him look so cute!! Fits his personality perfectly!!

Nope! Sometimes they just flop over. I think it's cute. Looks like a little beret!

It is probably not a health problem, so don't worry too much. Black stars can be a mix of different breeds, so it might be normal. Floppy combs are usually not desirable and make it unable for a bird to be shown, however, there are exceptions. Like others have said, it is pretty cute, though!

My most mature 19 week old RIR has a "comb-over". I think it's kinda cool!!
