Just a question. Not an emergency.

My RIR's comb is flopped over to the side. It doesnt seem to bug or hurt her. It was like that whenI got her. The other one is fine.

Is this a normal thing? I asked her but she just gave me chicken eye and pecked my foot for being so rude as to point it out ....

Some large combs do this. I had a Leghorn who had one eye covered by her comb all her life. As long as its color looks like the others and she seems fine, I wouldn't worry about it.

I too have a chicken with a floppy comb - she is absolutely fine and has always been that way - don't worry unless she appears ill!

Is a floppy comb also a sign of going broody?
My one year old leghorn is sitting alot. I am still
collecting the eggs. Her comb has always been
more pale than the others, but has flopped over the
last week. Any suggestions?
Thanks.
