Floppy combs

    I have brown leg horns 5months old. There combs are not standing up. Is there something wrong with them?

    No, that is quite common for chickens, especially Leghorns as they have very large combs. Are you sure they are girls?

    Not likely anything is wrong. Leghorns tend to have very large combs and they are often simply too heavy to stand up. If you could post a picture, we could be more certain.

    Welcome to BYC and :welcome great to have you aboard. I concur with the above. Leghorn types have combs that often flop to one side. Best of luck to you! :)
