Hi! I'm totally new to chickens. I had gotten into it by taking on the ones from school that needed some extra TLC. Now both of those poor girls have died, and I got two more from the feed store..one barred rock and one araucana. They are about 5 weeks old. I come here once a day to see what I can learn from you folks!

I must admit I am worried about restrictions to flock size... My heart wants to take a "personal sustainability" angle. Just not sure the city or county is ready to back personal sustainability in urban environs.
