Hi, I'm newish to raising chickens I have a flock already I live in Ocala area of Florida I joined the site because i have found very little on the net in Florida for sell I'm looking for a few specific types of chickens. I am in search of Jersey Giants, Malays, Brahmas, Shamos, Ayam Cemanis and Barred Plymouth Rocks. I have no clue where to look and figured this is a good place to start.

check craigslist in your area - and just do a search for either chickens or the specific kind you are looking for.

There are several farm swaps near and in Ocala. There are some people that do breed different breeds depending on what they can sell. Also poultry shows are another good place to look.

Lots of you guys seem to live up and down I 75... I'm over East at Green Cove Springs just West of St Augustine...I'm currently raising Ayam cemani... Svart Hona...jubilee orphington...3 colors of Wyandottes..Coturnix and as soon as they hatch Jumbo A&M quail... I do have 2 Silver Phoenix pair for sale to make room for stuff growing out...
