I am looking for some chickens. I would be interested in hens as young as 2 months. I am in the Jacksonville/Orange park region. Any suggestions on where to look would be appreciated!

Does anyone have any tips on how not to get too attached to chicks? Im gonna breed my pullet and cockerel once the pullet starts laying eggs and i want to hatch the chicks. I know that some of them are going to end up being roosters and i want to socialize the chicks so I can find the roosters homes. In gonna keep the hens that hatch until I have four hens (if you include the hen I already have) and the rooster that i already have. If I hatch extra females i'll give them to my friend who wants chickens. A small portion of her fence fell down during hurricaine Irma but her mom will probably have the money to get it fixed by the time I hatch the chicks. I think my pullet will start laying sometime around the beginning of spring. Wow, I got really off topic there.

I just sold my older chicks the other day. But you can try craigslist people are always listing them on there(as do i).

Hi all! Anyone looking for some pekin ducks? I have to move to another state and my 5 pekins I can't have there. I live in Orange Park Florida and would drive a little distance to deliver them if I can find someone to take them. Now I have 5, 2 boys and 3 girls and they are not for eating but pets. Please contact me if interested.

If you cant find anyone by next week let me know... i may take some of them if i can. Have to see if i will have enough room for them. It will be hard because i have 3 males and 1 hen right now and i dont want to over due it on males either lol
