FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

Hello Everyone,

My name is Julianna, and I am currently located in Pennsylvania with my mixed flick of 8. So sorry to interrupt your thread, but I was hoping someone here could offer some advice.

My fiance and I are looking into relocating to South Florida, specifically Broward County. However, I would like to keep my hens . All of the information I'm finding states that chickens are allowed in Broward County in general, but that they are prohibited in each individual town I look into . That seems to be a common theme per the previous threads I've found on BYC on this subject.

I was hoping someone here could let me know which cities/towns in Broward County DO allow chickens so we know which areas to focus on in our search.

Thank you all so much for your time, and any help you can offer.

I have no clue about Broward County and chickens, but you could post this question on the local laws and ordinances and see if, you can get an answer there.

Must rehome this pretty boy quick. He is an Ameriflower, 20.5 weeks old, mating and watches over the girls while they lay. I think he is a keeper, but I don't want to inconvenience my neighbors. Any one willing to give him a home? Lakeland

HELP! I'm not actually in florida so sorry for crashing but I figured maybe some fellow chicken lovers from florida would be willing to help me out hehe :bow

Long story short at the end of this year I am FINALLY graduating after years of working full time, going to school full time and raising 3 littles and the hubby and I are long overdue for some alone time so next January we want to go tent camping in the Florida keys.... Problem is we know NOTHING about Florida and the travel sites just aren't cutting it...

Can you drive to the keys? That seems insane to me but that seems to be what people refer to? Could we rent a car and just drive to a campsite from Miami?

Anyone have any ideas for tent camping spots with the most privacy? prettiest spots?

Putting aside camping, what else is there to do there that one would recommend? we are not opposed to hotel lifeing it. Open to literally any and all suggestions.

Help a frazzled girl out :barnie

You can drive all the way to the southern tip of Key West, then you'll only be 90 miles from Cuba. There are tent camping sites in the Keys.

If you're driving south on I-95 and decide to start tent camping as soon as you drive across the Georgia/Florida border, you can drive to Ft. Clinch state park in Fernandina Beach. There's plenty of tent camping and nice beach, good fishing off the beach as well as touring the cool Fort...bring your camera!

I'm not familiar with any other camp sites south of Jacksonville, maybe someone else can chime in.
