FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

Jess, back away from Emu eggs, you don't have a large enough place for them. Don't make us have an intervention on here. LoL

1958, nope not a hatchery here, it's straight run hatchlings for that price. Older sexed chicks are sometimes available, but I also don't want a yard full of Roos. Then again we cull all extra Roos around here so we aren't increasing our already large feed bill.

I don't want to raise any Emu.. just hatch to sell.. I have been checking it out and it seems the market for them is increasing.. You can get 100-150 for a young Emu chick..

Yes, but are you ready for the care and housing until they sell? Have you researched their needs feed wise and early days after hatching? What if there is no buyer locally or with in driving distance? Are you ready to invest in a different bator from the styro to give better chances at an Emu hatching? What if you spend that money or eggs and they don't hatch?

I've got a banty cochin rooster who needs a date. I'll deliver, you keep him as long as you want, and then.............don't call me to come get him!!!

If anyone knows someone looking for mille fleur d'uccle hens, I've got two pretty girls born last June.

What flavor box o'chicks are you getting? Looks like they have many options.

Loganisle wants Iowa Blues, I am leaning towards Partridge Rocks. I am working on starting a "Rock Garden" in coop #2. I WISH they had White Faced Black Spanish or Appenzellers, but it says none for 2012. I'd also be open to a variety box, and we can just pull out the Iowa Blues for Teresa.
