FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

The only thing I've figured out is Lonesome Dove is the first Saturday and Highland City is the last Saturday. They post it on the Kickin Chicken Facebook page and on Craigslist. I don't know if/where tomorrows is being held.
* Just found on Craigslist that tomorrows is in Plant City. Next weekends is Davenport/Haines City.
I just checked on CL and tried to put a pattern together. It looks like:

First Saturday: Lonesome Dove, Lakeland
Second Saturday: Family Feed & Pet Store, Plant City
Third Saturday: Summerlins, Davenport
Last Saturday: Oliver & Dahlmans, Highland City

It seems that if their happens to be a "Fourth Saturday" they have it at Tractor Supply in Haines City.

I've never been to any but the one in Highland City because that feed store is where I buy my horse feed. They are the closest to me that sells TC Complete besides Lonesome Dove but that's a 25 minute drive from my house.

Highland City is the only one I go to just because it is only a 1/2 mile from the house. Anything they don't have on hand, they will usually order it for you and get it in within a couple of days. The new produce market that just went in beside them is great also.

I just replaced my old ratty chicken coop with the world's most awesome coop. It's big enough to house about 30 chickens LOL, but I only have 2 three-year-old hens (a BO and a BR - my EE died last month :( ). I want to get 3 more, but at this point have no idea where to get 3 from... I'd love young pullets, but I don't know how to go about finding some locally. I'd like a good layer or two and a fancy pretty girl (polish, showgirl or silkie). I don't need show quality birds - just happy healthy birds... I can't hatch eggs bc I can't have roosters where I live and would have to rehome the DAY they crowed... and I don't want to wait for chick season at the local feed stores to buy sexed chicks bc that's a loooooong wait.

I'll post pics of my coop later, but it's 6' wide x 8' long x 8' tall. We're finishing off the hardwire cloth on the windows this weekend, tiling the interior, finishing painting the exterior and attaching it to our existing run. I'll eventually sell my old coop bc it would be useful for someone out there.

Ideas for me on how I can get three more hens?
I have some nice pullets available, Aussies, Delaware, EE, and Barred Rocks. I'm in manatee county, just south of the Hills line off of I-75 .....stan

Thanks so much for the ideas everyone!! I'm in rural Seminole County - about 30 min's from Titusville one direction and about 30 min's from downtown Orlando the other direction. I've got a couple of young kids home for the summer and I'm not sure driving a couple of hours to a chicken swap would work out :( We treat our chickens like lap dogs (LOL) and I want them young so we can spend a lot of time handling them so they come to us and sit with us.... We have two huge dogs so i suppose this is how we get our "little pet" fix. My husband thinks I'm slightly nuts, but he humors me - and hired a HUGE forklift to just move our new chicken coop, so he's a good sport. :)

Just a reminder for anyone who happens to be in the area. We have lots of room for parking. Not much shade so if you can come and have a canopy or umbrella, you may want to bring them.

Where is that in relation to Gainesville, Florida?

My girls are healthy and about 5 months old, not laying yet. I would love a Barred Rock hen.
