I'd wait until they are the size of a large fowl hen so as to not overly tempt your local hawks.

They're more notional about going back into the coop at night than chickens are so you may have to play "corral the turkeys" a few times until they do reliably go in on their own.

Okay =] So far, the only problem I have had is my dog. He killed two hens the other day

but I can't blame him, he's a dog.

I have to corral my leghorn hens so no big deal haha. I got pics of the turkeys =]

I am hoping to make this one as I haven't been able to attend lately because of my father's health. I have a ton of silkies to offer. They will be both show potential and also some that I will be offering as pets as they will have some flaws but if you don't show and just want them for pets they will be wonderful friends.

I will be offering some whites and splash.

Have lots of boys of course, so here is your chance to pick up a couple at good prices. The only stipulation, is that if you purchase a girl, you will have to purchase a boy also(boys will be a cheaper price) I will also pair some up. I hate to do this, but I am so far behind in offering birds because I have had to spend alot of time with my father. He is a strong man and I think having his family around him works wonders. So, I would rather offer my silkies to my BYC peeps than to put them on EggBid.

PM me if you are interested in anything particular, and I will see if I can accomodate you. They range in age from 10 weeks to 4 1/2 months old.

Anyone interested in a little EE cockerel? I can get pics if so... he is mostly black and white with a black head and muffs, tail looks like it is coming in dark green so far. He'll be 7 weeks on Wednesday. Nice guy so far, but I can't keep him here... neighbors across the street already freaked when they saw the chicks... LOL. I would love to sell him or trade for something, but honestly we would probably just give him away too...

I've got 5 ducklings I can bring. They are 4 weeks old. Barnyard mix breed but very pretty

Let me know if you want me to bring them... They are off the light and hanging with the teenage chicks
