very true,... I agree..
But i still say that they should have offered those people a chance to work the farm and pick their own berries..instead of just destroying them... just my berry deprived opinion though...

I`m personally willing to by strawberiies by the clam shells at 2.50 each just for eating and canning as normally they are as high as 3.50 lately though they are 1.50 and I have boughten lots, will be making more jam soon. Why couldn`t the florida farmers sell them to a processing plant? It's just like our local water, we are conserving water so now we have to pay more. I bet due to the farmer distroying crops the strawberries will go up in price.
