That's nothing. Cover a board with duct tape sticky side up, lay it on the ground and I bet you could catch most of those. Get a piece of plywood and staple the duct tape to it.

its worth a try. can you imagine how many offspring there are ? bugs for decades

Why do you want to get rid of them? Are they invading your actual house? I don't think they'd hurt the chickens.
Try a really thin layer of bedding for awhile. That'll make it easier for the chickens to see and eat them.
Also, pitfall traps. Glass, metal, anything they can't climb. Bury the container up to its rim and put food in the bottom, roaches fall in and can't climb back out. Usually they don't have the agility to fly out. If you put a heap of bedding in the bottom, they won't think to escape.

I think they like the glue. At least that was my experience with masking tape. They were attracted to it.

also read this one about a week ago. theres so much info in those 2 threads but most of it consists of using poisons that I'm uncomfortable with.
thank god theres no food or water in the hen house.
all of the dark spots on the poop board are droppings but I'm sure if i went out there with a flashlight, the girls would have a roach feast. I'm positive they are all over the floor under the flake.

i have seen a couple in the house but nothing like outside. we have boric acid and bait stations down in the house. currently we are being invaded by carpenter ants in the back room of the house thats on the outside wall. florida sucks when it comes to bugs
