Florida roach control anyone ? Or any other place on the planet i guess

I tried glue traps and didn’t catch a thing. Maybe you would have better luck. Be very careful of catching birds and other innocent critters though, that glue is nasty stuff.

I am itching to dump some sevin dust down after seeing that picture.. EW.

put up some cameras and you will be shocked at what you don't know.

i had a rat problem last year that i didn't know about until i saw them on the cameras. the girls in the hen house got used to hearing gunshots at night. needless to say, i no longer have a rat problem. lets hope that doesn't change. i plugged all the very small holes that they were coming in from outside and then eradicated them. i had some get on top of the run metal roof and chew into the soffit on the overhang and then chew their way through the hen house roof knee wall and into the house. when i just happen to catch one on camera inside the hen house, it was all out war. i killed 20 or 30 in a 2 week period. i hated to shoot them but i had no choice.

That's nothing. Cover a board with duct tape sticky side up, lay it on the ground and I bet you could catch most of those. Get a piece of plywood and staple the duct tape to it.

I'm going to try your suggestion and make a 1/2 sheet 1/4" plywood board and cover it with gorilla duct tape sticky side up

as a side note, I'm coming to the conclusion that DE seems to do none of the things that its purported to do. thats my conclusion. i have carpenter ants walking right over it and i have not seen a slow down in the population. i have bought my last bag of the expensive food grade DE. for me, its a waste of money. those same ants are walking over and through boric acid too . maybe its time for a flame thrower.

DE is useless for everything except maybe grain mites in food. Don’t waste your money.
For what it’s worth, I tried a very old bottle of boric acid we had lying around and it didn’t do anything either. I didn’t know if it was just old or what, but I’ll stick to sevin dust.

i need to investigate the safety of seven dust around my chickens. they are not livestock, they are all pets and part of our family.
