Since I live here in Fl where we dont really have to deal with major cold I thought I would ask those who live close by what you do on launch days? Do you put your animals up or take any special precautions with them? All of my dogs will come in leading up to launch time, I also coral the goats so they dont run and hurt themselves. Last launch I had 1 hen get scared and climb the fence to their run all the way to the top.
I have to say also, I live 7 miles from the shuttle launch pad and 3.5 from the rocket launch pads so things get loud and shake like crazy around when anything goes up.
