I was thinking Pink!!!!!
No, but seriously, I've never shown, but I really want to do this, what you guys think, Pink OK?

What's so funny is that I spent a lot of time today reading the Standard of Perfection (SOP) and no where did it mention nailpolish, unless you count the section on faking!

But seriously, I was talking to my 4H kids yesterday and a large debate broke out. Is it okay to pluck a non-SOP feather? (Like a white feather from a black?)

My feelings are that it is NOT ok, that it is cheating and considered faking. To me it is akin to an athlete taking steroids, what is being shown is not a true representation. But both the kids and parents said that the judge told them to pluck the feather so that a bird could go without points being taken off.

Feelings, thoughts, comments?

thats what I was told as well to pluck I have seen other disqualifications of faking like try to pass a rooster off as a cockerel by cutting the spur or clipping malformed combs. One little feather is not going to change conformation, or build weight or size.

The dogs never needed a blow dryer they don't have enough hair to dry with a towel as it is.. Chinese Crested Hairless & a hairy
