I have a pattern, but it could be beyond me. I'll try it and, if I can't get it, I'll do something simple.

Wooo Hoooo, gotta love it when a plan comes together. If you did it once surly you can repeat it. The best thing about crochet is even the most complicated pattern is one stitch at a time (as long as you can figure out what the pattern is telling you to do!I found a pattern and sat down last night to try it out. Well, you know how that goes - I could not put it down untill I finished it (11:00 pm) I just had to know if it was really going to be 6 inches.
What a happy surprise it wasand I think it is really pretty. I've never really done granny squares. I hope I can repeat it.![]()

I am. I'm away from home and my patterns. I'd only once tried a 3-D square and failed, just have difficulties with patterns. For this swap, I found a tutorial online for a 3-D flower square and tried it. It worked and I'm making beautiful flower squares. Thanks to y'all and those on past swaps for the inspiration.I am very glad for the suggestion to add the green square option for any who don't feel like they can't do the flowers but still want to participate. I am hoping though that all of us use this opportunity to flex and grow our crocheting skills "muscles"
That is great, glad you figured it out. I have been looking at pics but haven't decided on a pattern yet. I need to get busy w/ that before time slips away.I am. I'm away from home and my patterns.
