Flu shot and sick as a dog...

I don't get flu shots any more because I get some flu right after I get the shot that was meant to prevent it

the 'seasonal flu' vaccine contains up to three inactive flu viruses - there are LOTS strains of flu- the CDC guesses every year which will come around.

I'm inoculated both H1N1 and seasonal as I'm preggers, both 'fresh' inactive virus.

aww Kim, yuck yuck yuck, sometimes you have a viral infection brewing.. and the vaccine kicked your immune system in to high gear with all it's defenses, fever, runny nose, all that causes aches, so it may just be a case of bad timing. A cup of tea, the couch , meds as needed aand REST. I hope you feel better soon.

Oh it also takes 24 hours usually to feel symptoms that are not... um... unrelated.

Ta Da! All better. Except for the soreness at the vaccination site and a slight headache.

Wifezilla...I must have skipped past the brain craving, all I wanted was gingerale.

And no thanks to DH who did nothing to help, good thing my kids love me. They kept me covered in blankets and made sure that I had a never ending supply of ice and gingerale.
