Hi my peacock started fluffing his tail feathers and is less active is this normal? Its usually fluffed at the base of the tail, but he was preening there now so not a very good pic, he's improved from this after afternoon but I'm just worried

How is he today? Is he like that when he's not preening? Sometimes they can look like that briefly while they're preening but he shouldn't be standing around like that otherwise.

He's a bit better today still a bit off form. His tail is still fluffed up

The vet said to put ivomec in their water. Buy I don't know what to do for the opal blackshoulder eye.

Ivermec in water will do nothing, it just falls to the bottom of the dish where the bird won't get enough to help. You would be better off using the Ivermec for cattle pour-on and put 0.40ml on the skin between the wings on the back or distributing it in a few different places on the skin. You likely have feather mites or lice. The pour-on will take care of them and will help a little if you have worms too. If you want to put something in the water a better choice is Tylan powder but don't stir it into the water with your bare hand as it will burn you. Or you can give the bird with the eye problem a shot of Tylan 200 SQ only.
