Hi this is my first time posting on here, I have learnt so much from this site its fantastic thanks.
I have started breeding this year with a bit more purpose ie using incubators not just having my always broody silkies sitting on random eggs and so now have this question does anyone know why some of my pekin/cochin (not sure which they are as Im always seeing photos of similar types called the 2 different names) chicks which are in the process of hatching have got fluffy feet and some dont??? can guarantee you that they have been faithfull to the rooster and I labelled each egg as they were collected so as not to mix them up with silkies. The cochins were bought at an auction I was bidding against a couple of very experienced breeders who very much wanted them. Thankyou
