That jar looks disgusting so it must work. thanks for the info. I just started in February with my girls and I'm having a blast watching them play..

I have 3 of the. They are simply miraculous! A squirt of dish liquid and then filling to the brim with water will kill any flies still alive. Then just bury the flies in your garden or compost pile.

Oh my gosh, the flies are awful! I tried the baggies with pennies. Didnt work. I made some "traps" with bait and 20oz coke bottles.
It caught some but I think they just breed inside there and some do escape. I am off to the dollar store to get some vanilla air fresheners.
I also have imitation vanilla extract - not the real stuff so I wonder if it would work to put in a spray bottle and spritz around since it still smells like vanilla?

Go to Lowe's, Home Depot, TSC, whatever, and buy these....trust me...THEY WORK!!

Try using a Pop fly trap- we caught about a quart of flies in 3 weeks.
