Gazer heard what the small dragon was thinking and shouted ,"all I was doing was trying to help ! " I wasn't the one who started fighting ." She said thru telepathy .

Monarch snorted again and thought, You wouldn't have needed to help if you had answered his question the first time! She thought in a sing song voice. Then someone else would've found him and your cave wouldn't be destroyed.

Monarch slowly crept out of her den, watchful for predators and made her way back to the ice dragons cave. She squeezed herself through a small crevice in the ice that sealed the entrance and sat down, cleaning the ice off her delicate scales.

"Well, hello Gazer," she said knowing she had already told her her name. A beetle caught her eye and she pounced on it, then swallowed it whole. She opened her mouth wide to adjust her jaw back and licked her scaly lips.

"You calmed down so I figured I wouldn't get squashed. Also, I am quite bored," she said, then feeling Gazer's disgust at her eating the beetle said, "What do you expect me to eat? It's not like there are any birds in your cave! Or lizards for that matter!"
