"Alright," Monarch said and shot out of the cave at speeds a dragon her size should not have been able to muster. She spotted a buck fairly quickly and shot at it, grabbing its throat and clawing at its neck with her talons. She could feel the bucks heartbeat slowing...
" I ..uh where'd she go ?" Gazer ask's herself and crashes through the ice wall once more , seeing the tiny dragon clawing at a deer as it falls to the ground ." Wow that was faster then I thought !"
As soon as the deer dropped Monarch let go. "I told you I could do it!" she cried in glee while ripping a mouthful off and swallowing it.
"Yeah , good job " gazer says looking off toward where anubis was .
Monarch looked that way too, "I'm sure he'll be fine, he is very strong," she said cheerfully and truthfully.
" I hope so ..." Gazer sighs
Monarch sighed and set upon eating her deer again.
Gazer felt anubis shut her mind out and felt a pang of sadness come across her ."i new he'd hate me ..I just new it " she thought , she flew back to her cave but didn't enter , instead she looked at it and wished she'd just answered the stupid question . Now her only memory of her father , a light blue pearl , had been half melted by lava . She curled up outside her den and picked it up (the pearl ) , she disapeared and softly cried .
Monarch felt the dragon's sorrow and wondered why it was. She headed back to Gazer's den and peered in cautiously. "Hello?" she said hesitantly.
" Hi " gazer said trying to look like she wasn't crying .
