Ok, Ive posted before about these guys. Can't figure out if they are playing/learning or if this is some sort of fighting behavior. They fly at each other all the time, not really pecking just air bombing each other...Is this fighting or is this learning to fly? They also walk straight into each other. They are in my room right now but not for long, they are keeping me up all night with wings flapping and chick loud noise. Sometimes sounds like they are killing each other in there.

I could be wrong, but they're probably just playing.... you know, like 2 toddlers running into each other, bumping chests on impact. (of course, I've seen grown men do this, as well....) Unless they're really picking on one in particular, turn out their light and get some sleep. DD and I love watching the babies play "bump" - hilarious

"Don't know how old yours are. Mine are 7 weeks and have been doing this for a few weeks now. They don't hurt each other just squawk a lot afterward. I think they are establishing pecking order.

Mine play "leap chicken" and try to land on the other's back sometimes too. They also play dare! When the big chickens are nearby...one will run straight into the middle of the flock, look around, and run back to the group of chicks! lol... It's like it was a dare! too funny.

When I let them out of the am.. I call it POPCORN CHICKEN, because they all fly here and there one at a time, all over. they are just so cute!!!

Mine are 3 weeks old.

I wish I could turn out their light, too cold, they are only one and two weeks. I thought about getting getting a black heat light so theyd sleep at night instead of go around flying or whatever they are doing. Temps right and everything, why don't they sleep? Ok, so hopefully they are learning/playing. thanks bunches and sleep well everyone.
