Thank you! Haha there serving there purpose no matter how funny they look! He keeps picking at himself and making it bleed. Then it scabs over and gets nasty and I have to debride the wound

I'm so happy for you! It's been like a month and a half I believe since flystrike and my rooster is STILL healing! It's been rough but im not giving up on him. He acts perfectly normal..I just resorted to keeping my daughters old underwear on him lol

So is the infestation gone @FlockFromPa or do the flies keep getting at him?

The infestation is definately gone! I got rid of the maggots the first time but the flies do keep bothering him so im trying to keep them away as much as possible. I thought he looked pretty good in his new attire as well!
