Yep, those companies are sneaky that way.Thank you for the correction! I'd just looked at the overall dimensions... I forgot they count the run in as part of that.

Bingo. Try Facebook as well. Also search for "Free shed." You might have to rent a UHaul.Check Craigslist! I just looked at santa Fe area Craigslist and there are a few coops in your price range. There seems to be a few sheds in your price range too. Tip on Craigslist, if it's too confusing to look at in list view switch to map view. It's not too late, good luck!
You should have read the reviews before buying that...
I have one chicken not looking to breed just taking care of this poor disabled one. I will see for myself when it arrives today. Thanks for the info.

https://www.urbannorthern.com/Where in the hell did you look for chicken coop and got scammed? Can you share it so that perhaps you can save future victims? Anyway, with $500 budget...... i would definitely look into buying a nice fenced kennel run and then buy a large dog house and modify it a bit to fit my chickens' needs. You can get all this cheap on Craigslist if you took the time in the beginning, but now that you are desperate to find a coop, I'm not soo sure..... but give it a try anyway.
Craigslist is how I found this one. They advertise nationwide on CL, take your money, and never ship your coop. Or if you DO get one, it's far from the hand-crafted one you were promised. Junk from China, just like most of them.Bingo. Try Facebook as well. Also search for "Free shed." You might have to rent a UHaul.

I also found several terrible threads on this forum about them.![]()
I've seen those too. I think of them as ads and ignore them. I go for the ones that are local which is why I like the map view feature.Craigslist is how I found this one.
