Hello BYC! I have 5 Peking ducks all are age 2 months old. They all are fully grown and live outside in their coop. They are one female and the rest male.lately I’ve noticed that some of them have weird goop on their eyes surrounding their eye of orange goop. I did notice yesterday that one of them had foam on his eye. I’m assuming it’s foaming eye disease. No other issues that I’ve seen. Any suggestions on what to do?

Do they have easy access to clean water that's deep enough for them to blow out their nares (nostrils)? If not, it could be contributing to the eye issues and potentially lead to respiratory problems.

As an aside, a ratio of 1 duck to 4 drakes will likely become an issue as they mature. Do you have plans to acquire more ducks or have fewer drakes?

Yes they have plenty of deep fresh water to rinse their nostrils in. Ive been trying to clean their water as much as I can to give them fresh water all the time. I will be separating my females from males soon.
