Food and Poop question/

Doesn't look too bad...could be she just has a gizzard problem and cannot get her grains ground well. Just provide some good grit and watch what happens..most things resolve themselves in time and if the chicken isn't suffering I'd just watch and wait.

I took her to the vet cause she was breathing funny taking breaths through her mouth. the vet said she possibly has air sacculitis. she is on antibiotics. could that have anything to do with it?

The symptoms for that doesn't show anything like poor digestion, though if the sac is infected and walled off, creating a growth that is obstructing the action of the gizzard, it might...but that's a leap to make that connection. Says that the most you will see is the shortness of breath and possibly feather picking...and I'm wondering why a bird having respiratory distress would pick feathers?

The info I read says this is a result of having Mycoplasma gallisepticum...did the vet mention that?
