I'm sure your a good cook, some people are just picky. I would say crock pot or oven meals would be the best bet. Roast (make sure it's the chuck roast, they are much juicer and more tender), potatoes, onions and carrots. That would make enough for 3 or 4 meals. I like using those small bowls with the screw on lids for freezing meal sized leftovers.
I have big eaters, so our monthly bill is outrageous at almost $1000 per month. My husband and 2 of my kids eat from the time they wake up until the time they go to bed. My husband will eat at least 4 full course meals a day, sometimes more. They have high metabolism's, I would weigh 700 pounds!
We also get a sirloin tip roast, cut it into bite sizes, fry it in the skillet and then add onion, mushrooms and bell peppers. That is some good stuff! (My husband cooks this dish) It's kind of my special treat from him.
You can also get the cheapest steak, the thin kind, slice it into small pieces and add fried rice. It's really good and cheap!
We love potato soup, and I have an awesome recipe from my granny. Little bit of cheese and hot sauce added and I will eat until I blow up
Around my house, you eat what I serve, a bowl of cereal or starve. We also love fried bologna or spam. The smoked spam is really good.
