Hi all. Not sure I'm posting this in the right place but here we go. My ladies were eating Purina Start & Grow Medicated because it was what was recommended to me when I bought them. Over the weekend, I changed them to Purina Layena. Today, they started laying eggs for the first time(s)...small, but still eggs. So I'm trying to figure out how long before we can actually eat they're eggs due to the medicated food. I'm guessing a couple weeks at least but any input would be greatly appreciated.

Congratulations on your first eggs! What an exciting time! Great thinking to transition the girls over to Layena®. This complete layer feed is formulated to provide all the nutrients the hens need for egg laying.

There is no withdrawal period for Purina® Start & Grow®. If the medication is just amprolium (what's included in Start & Grow®), then the eggs are safe to eat!
