Food in Bator?

Does anyone put chick food in the incubator? My chicks were set 18 hrs apart (I was holding eggs for someone who didn't come for them). I'm worried about how long they might be without food. I know a day without food is OK, but I'm worried about a protracted hatching.

I dont put food in the bator. Last week I had one hatch Monday morning, and the last ones hatched wednesday morning, I got them all out wednesday around 2 pm, all are fine and doing great.
