Food prices

I find it frightening that this country might never wake up to the wonders of cannabis. China knows.

Am I and the DEA the only ones that realizes the potential abuse of growing hemp in light of the fact it resembles pot?

A lot of the hemp imported in America is used for food.

"The USA are amongst the small number of
countries worldwide in which industrial hemp cultivation still is forbidden" http://eiha.org/attach/272/07-01_PM_EIHA_hemp_industrie_expansion.pdf
Then why grow it? The farmland is too valuable and if it were a good cash crop it would be legal most likely. Enforcement would be a nightmare in trying to distinguish a hemp field from a few well placed pot plants.

Please no more mandates..
Too late, already law, corn based ethanol mandates. With drought and record heat, I bet the prices of food rise much further. Sadly, an continuing increase of our food supply is required by the government to submit to these mandates.
