Love baked Alaska...first time I made one it came out perfect. The second time the rum wouldn't ignite and it was a rum soggy mess .

Interesting. I've only had it done under a broiler. Rum soggy sounds pretty good.

Not that it's quirky, I put Grape jelly on my French Toast. Outside of my family I haven't seen this. One thing that struck me as odd was someone putting mustard on Scrapple. Scrapple gets Ketchup!
