My poor boys have the same infliction except they don't get much ridding time as one roo will start and another will run over and knock him off and take over.

I get the Jimi Hendrix lyrics in my head, "move over rover and let jimmy take over"!!!

This is what my son and I refer to as "The Rooster Dance".

It has now become the defacto way for me to explain the birds and the
beas to him. During love scenes in TV show and movies the actors are
"Doing the Rooster Dance"


"Daddy, what are they doing?"
"The Rooster Dance"
"Ohhhh....."


Hey Aran, get out the video cam. Pulling a hen off a roost would make a
great clip.


Ok I gotta say it. I'm sure there are plenty of couples out there who got
frisky and did the rooster dance while building their coops.
