Yep!They're combs are all shriveled up, and has anybody noticed how a chicken resembles a porcupine while they are molting?
Mine are showing no signs either, but I think I'll be in the next year category. They are all spring of this year hatches. Thanks for the pic cause I would've freaked seeing one of mine looking like that! Was that gradual or pretty sudden?

Yes, I thought about adding that...have had the same thing happen.Usually correct.....but tell that to my 9 month old birds that have gone through minor molts.
I have at least 5 hens molting right now, I have had chickens for 4 years and this is the worst molt yet!![]()
