That's too funny. That's exactly how it is here when I open the front door and all my chickens, including my peafowl pair, come running to see what I have. It's usually bread but sometimes, pumpkin, tomatoes, grapes etc.

I don't think any of those birds really needed the bread

And I'm surprised they were able to jump at all with as chunky as they are! But it was a cute video, and a good choice on the score
