Got my new babies from Cackle this morning! I am happy with the babies, no losses so far, have one with leg problems. But that isn't anyones fault.

I would like your opinion about something. I ordered and paid for 35 and got 31, the order was not correct and there were not even any extra chicks. Do you think I should call them?

If you call them, they will refund the difference of the missing chicks. They usually only send extras if they are available in the breed you are wanting.

They may have only charged you for what they had available, or they may have charged you for 29 and sent 31.

Thanks, don't you think they would notify me by email or a call and let me know things were not as i had ordered. I havn't received anything. I placed my order the beginning of April so I don't know why they shouldn't have had my chicks that I wanted in all. Maybe I will call, not sure yet. It's not much. I don't want to make a big deal of 12 bucks or ?

I dont know they are good to deal with I think. I ordered one of there $40.00 "Hatchery Surprise" No choice of kind or amount of birds but they guarantee a bargain and I got 65 chicks (looks to be half hens and a good assortment) 1 duck 2 turkeys. Before that I got the "Happy Cackel Special" for like $60.00 and you get: 1 pair geese 1 pair ducks, 2 turkeys, 10 pullets, 1 rooster, 10 assorted rare chicks and I was very happy with that.. I think it took around 6 to 10 weeks to get the order and they e-mailed me the day they shiped. I just got the chicks on the 28th of May.. Give them time youll like the chicks... If you dont mind what did you get from them?

If you call them, they will probably just ship your chicks, with extras to fill the box. That is if you do not mind about 11 extra chicks.

Did you double count? I have never had a short order and I have been dealing with them for 3 1/2 years now.

They never confirmed my shipment. A box of chicks just arrived unexpectedly. I was very disappointed!
