For those who raise meat birds! (Finished Paper Pg. 4)

Sorry if you take my short and not longwinded posts as snippy. I don't believe in writing a novel when a short answer will do. You asked for opinions on your paper....all I meant was if I was the professor I'd want a paper based on real facts not special interest group or personal blog "facts". No need to get your panties in a bunch.....you wanted opinions....you didn't say you only wanted ones that only praised your efforts.

No, I'm not blissfully unaware of some of the things that sometimes go on in CAOs, but I also don't believe all the retoric that "the other side" puts out either. I've made my living in agriculture all my adult life so I do have more than a little first hand knowledge on how it works.

I think the only other threads of your's I've responded to were about your BLRW, which if you've even noticed I said she finally looks like a pullet to me.

great paper! vert entertaining!

From this site:

In fact, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) does not permit the use of hormones in raising hogs or chickens, turkeys and other fowl. That is why the USDA does not allow the use of the term "no hormones added" on labels of pork or poultry products unless it is followed by a statement explaining that "Federal regulations prohibit the use of hormones."

Which is consistent with my understanding of the use of hormones in chickens so I looked no further.

Yes, MJC is Modesto Jr College. It sounds like you have a really good plan! It's exciting to be on a path toward a goal isn't it? I just got my daughter back in to a JC in Cali. She should have gone straight to law school and would be graduated by now but chose to take the long and winding route. She just started the AA paralegals program and I know will continue on after that.
Life is one big learning curve isn't it!
