. My sweet calla, she was in the first clutch of eggs I hatched this year. I love you baby girl! :( dog got her when she was 5 weeks old

Christina Rossetti, the grey and great, will be missed. She was a fierce lady, afraid of nothing (which could get her in trouble sometimes), the dinosaur at her roots was never forgotten.

Christina was named because of a poem I liked from her namesake:

Hurt no living thing:
Ladybird, nor butterfly,
Nor moth with dusty wing,
Nor cricket chirping cheerily,
Nor grasshopper so light of leap,
Nor dancing gnat, nor beetle fat,
Nor harmless worms that creep.

As it turned out, she would've loved to eat all of those things. If she gets another life as a chicken I hope she gets all of those things. And roaches for desert.

RIP Baby Cat! This poor girl was my favorite pullet. She ran up to me and jumped in my arms every day to give me cuddles. This is a picture of her on her last day alive eating her last meal (although we didn't know that at the time). I'm gonna miss this little girl so so much :rip

Somebody please tell me I'm not crazy for being this upset over a chicken! I loved this girl!
