It's been incredibly hot here for spring, during the mid afternoon there's nothing for it but to find a cool spot and nap....

Lulu, my cute little silkie has been lovingly raising her mixed batch of bantams and light sussex chicks. Even though they're getting as big as her they all see mummy lie down and 'pile on'. They're 7.5 weeks old but at this rate I think they're going to be mama's babies forever. They even all cramb into the nest box in the cutest pile of fluffy butts you've ever seen.

Help me please. I want to keep them all. Mustn't keep them all. Can't keep them all. Argh!
