Yup, we've been getting a wave of spammers trying to push their junk links on BYC.

We try to balance between keeping the junk out while not limiting our legit members. Sometimes it's hard for the automated systems to tell the difference, so that's why we are thankful that our members click the report flag on spam posts.

NOTE: You only need to report one post from the spammer. We'll be able to zap all their posts from just one report.

What if the spammer is using multiple accounts? Would we still need to report just one?
Also, are you "Nifty" from the Printerknowledge forum?

They are still at it. Stupid spammers making it hard for any "real" topics to show up.

If they are using multiple accounts, then yes, it would be good to report just one spam post per account to make sure we get them all.

Yes, www.Printerknowledge.com was the first forum I ever started and led me eventually to what BYC is today!
