Forum interface color changes

Did you just change something? I'm seeing some new background colors.
Stickies have a light brown background, threads where I've posted have a very pale peach/tan background.

It's nice, I'm just wondering if it's intentional or something local to my computer. I'm seeing it in FF, Chrome and IE, WinXP.

I've got the same thing. It's probably just a change of color to the back ground for something new.

I've also noticed a change when I go to replace my avatar or upload a picture.

#12902: We have a "forums" menu in their top tabs. We've done some tuneups to this menu which will allow you to get to the "New Posts" line of links even if your personalized forum list hasn't loaded yet. We've also adjusted the time delays on the flyouts to make it easier to drill deep without the menu disappearing on you if you mis-mouse slightly.

That's a big improvement for me- my mouse would slip off the drop down too easily.

Love the color change...my tired old eyes sometimes made it difficult for me to see if a post was one to which I had already responded. And if my laptop was tilted just right I couldn't tell if the color was light blue or dark blue. The tan color makes it simple now - thanks!!!!

I have to say I very much dislike like the colour changes. Makes it difficult to see which threads I have posted to in the past. I used to be able to identify them at a glance. Now they are almost impossible to differentiate. I could tell with the blue, not with the peach.

Is it possible to let each user set their preference for how colours will display on their computer in their user settings rather than having a site-wide choice over which users have no control?

Every computer monitor displays color differently, so a peach that is very easy for me to see could easily be indistinguishable for you, and the blue you see well could fade out for me. So, I'd have to second your request for user options.

I agree the peach color makes it difficult for me also.

ETA, It is especially dificult when you pull up topics you have posted on, which is what I view most because I don't want to look at a bunch of role play threads.......
