The best way to have post counts remain consistent without the annual bounce may for BYC to remove the games and jokes section from the counter or just not do the majority of your posting there.

I agree with a previous post that high post counts does not mean more knowledgeable. We have some VERY qualified people here with small post counts compared to many who have been here for a short period of time and are just more chatty.

Nifty, you might want to add Platinum Membership to the front page. I know it's similar to GFM, but it's still different and that way you can change your title whenever you want, to whatever you want (within the character limit, of course).
