This is the only chicken I have though? Do you think she can makes my dogs, cats, and cockatiel ill?

There is a huge thunderstorm tonight so I will be putting her in my dog's cage in my room.
I just put her in my dog cage and walked out of the room. When I left, she started making these little sad clucking sounds. Is that normal? She has been mostly silent the entire time.

She is scared and lonely.
Chickens do best in a flock.

If I found a chicken or any animal in poor condition, especially in a Wal-Mart parking lot, I'd be darned if I'd look for the irresponsible person who lost or abandoned it. In fact I DID find a skinny scared kitten in a Wal-Mart parking lot last month. He's now growing up fat and happy and well loved on our farm. It's a little bit longer and it curves over. But it doesn't look too overgrown? I wouldn't know though.

NO NO NO NO!!! Someone might get her and put her on the dinner table! Please no! If you do, charge $20- $50 for someone to get her to assure she won't be put on the dinner table.
