Thank you for all of your advice! Any guesses on what day it is on? And what day I should stop rotating the egg and raise the humidity?I would strongly advise against transferring ownership of the egg until the chick has hatched. It's great news that the chick is developing!

I have 3 very sweet lovably Faverolles that soon will be a year old and I have two nice nesting boxes and I find single eggs everywhere in the yard along with the floor in the coop and it is driving me crazy because by the time I find one some have had the inside eaten. What is making a small hole in the egg and eating the contents? What can I do to change this problem? Two of the hens lay their eggs in the same nesting box but not this one so I have an egg hunt everyday to see if she laid an egg. I have had chickens as pets for since I was a child for about 60 years and I never had this problem before. Is she just plain stupid or what?Egret eggs are turquoise! It’s possible some creature took it from the nest and was going to eat it but dropped it or something. Other times the mother will cast it out of its nest if she knows it is infertile or unlikely to hatch.
up above the first message on this page, in the upper right, there is a link to click that says Watch, clicking this will give you the option of receiving emailsDoes anyone know how I can set this up to get email updates? I've got to see the end of the story! I'm afraid I won't be able to find this thread again ...
Can't wait for the chick to hatch! Have you contacted the wildlife rescue yet? Maybe you can set something up where they give you the food for the chick and when it hatches you feed it and drive to the rescue?Thank you for all of your advice! Any guesses on what day it is on?
