found baby bird by run. what do i do?

Raw hamburger or, better yet, get fishing worms/dew worms and cut into 1 inch pieces... all kinds of fruit but mine always liked strawberries, raspberries, bing cherries and/or grapes (think what they might find growing outside), sliced thin about as big around as a worm might be... no citrus.
 
In a pinch, ok... little worm size slices... moist to slide down... also little slices of hard boiled egg, esp. yolk or mashed yolk w/the baby rice liquid... it needs protein.
Great that it ate cherry!
 
With all the storms that have been blowing through sometimes they get blown out, nest and all... momma can't do anything about that and I hate to see them die. We have successfully raised and released a number of wild birds... robins, cardinal, doves, sparrows... What a joy to release and they still come back!
... and yes a hot dog will do in a pinch.
