I'm not much better off than you. I've had an incubator & brooder for years, since I hatched out a few quail to train my dogs with, but my first attempt at hatching chicken eggs is in the incubator now, halfway done.It does seem like a very great forum!I think I will stick around, especially seeing as I hope to get chickens sometime in the future and am a fan of all birds! I used to volunteer at Bird Rescue and have rescued A LOT of them, just never dealt with eggs before.
How many chicken eggs do you have?! At the local park there was a lovely friendly chicken (there are all sorts, Roosters, Guinea-fowl, Pigeons) but sadly it disappeared, have no idea where it went
