Okay... so I found this chickie in the neighbor's yard when it was a day old. Mama hen had apparently had 10 of them earlier (# reported by neighbor), but the rest had gotten eaten by neighborhood cats. Being the softie that I am, I took it in. It is now 3 weeks old and I have no idea what it is. The hen it was with was buff colored with a darker tail, and I know there is a RIR rooster around here, as well as another (not sure what breed). Any ideas? Is it a Roo?

He (darn it, hoped for a she) is a very sweet tempered bird. Loves to fly up on the edge of the brooder and have his chest pet while you tell him what a good birdie he is. [IMG]
